I've been blogging and reading blogs for long enough to know that it's pointless to write too much about how you don't post often enough. It starts to make you feel like a deadbeat dad, always promising to show up for your kid's birthday but then just sending a card in the mail.
I hate blogging. All the things I want to say take a long time to read and ain't nobody got time for that.
So I thought podcasting might work well for me. I figured that people might be more willing to listen to me talk for half an hour than they would be to read 5K words about whatever.
In case you don't follow me on Facebook or Twitter, here it is:
I don't know how long I'm going to do this but I think I'll give it a good try before I give up. It's called "Welcome to the Western World with Jim Gavin" - I'll explain why in the next episode or so. I was really just trying to warm up and get the hang of recording, uploading etc this time.
While I'm at it, I'll be at WHC this year. Technically the Stokers weekend took over and made the name a hell of a lot longer but I'm not at the Stokers so there you go. I made it onto a panel, which is cool.
Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments. Or you can email me. Doing a listener mailbag would be fun, I think.
